    Robotics Junior: Ozobot – Coding Adventures for Young Innovators

    Robotics Junior: Ozobot is designed in alignment with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), offering young learners an exciting first step into the world of robotics and coding. This course blends creativity and technology as students use Ozobot Evo robots to explore the magic of color-coded programming.

    Through story-based missions and hands-on projects, students practice sequencing, pattern recognition, and spatial reasoning while building their own imaginative tracks and challenges. Each lesson invites children to draw, design, and test colorful pathways that guide their robots through adventures from racing tracks to space journeys.

    The curriculum also weaves in opportunities for collaboration, problem-solving, and storytelling. Students not only learn the foundations of coding and robotics but also build communication, perseverance, and creative thinking skills. By turning play into learning, Robotics Junior inspires curiosity and sets the stage for future STEM success.

Meet Your Ozobot - Discover Robot Parts

Say hello to your new robotic friend, Evo the Ozobot! Students will explore its different parts and learn how each piece helps the robot move, think, and come to life.

Power Up - Calibrate with Colors

Students discover how to wake up and prepare their Ozobot for action. They’ll practice drawing simple color codes that tell the robot what to do next!

Speed Racers - Motion Masters

Zoom, slow down, or speed up students experiment with speed codes to make their Ozobot move in different ways. They’ll test and compare how coding changes the robot’s motion.

Special Moves - Create the Finish Line

Students unlock Ozobot’s tricks and turns by using special move codes. Then, they design a fun exit path that challenges their robot to complete a journey and celebrate victory!

Turn, Twist, and Travel

Students practice direction codes that help Ozobot make left, right, and U-turns at intersections. They’ll create exciting paths to see if their robots can navigate tricky twists and turns!
