    Explorer Camp empowers middle schoolers to think critically, solve problems creatively, and collaborate effectively. Through immersive STEM activities and engineering challenges, campers build confidence in coding, robotics, and design thinking while honing their ability to innovate and work as a team. Weekly themes inspire imagination and keep activities fresh and engaging, fostering a love for learning and exploration. Here’s a sample of what a week in this course could look like. Keep in mind, our experienced instructors will build the camp that is right for your student, and this outline demonstrates some of the key materials and the overall camp experience.

Monday: Mission Kickoff Monday

Campers will launch their week with excitement and energy! The day begins with themed icebreakers that spark imagination and build friendships, followed by hands-on STEM discovery where they’ll dive into interactive activities like building LEGO creations or coding fun challenges. After a quick game break to recharge, they’ll return to collaborate on themed projects in the Innovation Lab, using teamwork and creativity to bring their ideas to life. The afternoon wraps up with Sports Zone fun, where campers try new sports and build their coordination while cheering on their teammates.

Tuesday: Teamwork Tuesday

The adventure continues as campers explore STEM concepts in new and exciting ways! Today’s STEM discovery hour might include programming robots or creating prototypes that solve real-world problems. After an energetic themed game, campers will head back to the Innovation Lab to take their projects further, experimenting and refining their designs. During Sports Zone, they’ll participate in big camp games and skill-building activities, fostering cooperation and confidence while having a blast with their peers.

Wednesday: Wonder Workshop Wednesday

Midweek magic is here! Campers will be immersed in a world of innovation, exploring the week’s theme through exciting STEM challenges like coding sequences, constructing creative structures, or building interactive gadgets. A playful game break will add some lively movement to their day before they dive into collaboration-driven projects during the Innovation Lab. In the afternoon, campers will enjoy thrilling sports activities, learning new skills and cheering each other on in friendly competitions.

Thursday: Thrill and Skill Thursday

Themed excitement hits its peak as campers take their STEM learning to the next level! In the morning, they’ll engage in problem-solving activities that challenge their critical thinking and creativity. Whether it’s designing machines or coding games, every project reflects their growing skills. A spirited game break will keep the energy high before they finalize their collaborative Innovation Lab creations. Sports Zone offers campers the chance to test their athletic abilities and teamwork as they play fun, dynamic games with friends.

Friday: Finale Friday

The week concludes with a celebration of everything campers have accomplished! The morning kicks off with exciting group activities tied to the week’s theme, followed by a showcase in the Innovation Lab where campers put the finishing touches on their projects. After a lively game break, they’ll present their creations to their peers and counselors, sharing what they’ve learned and built. The day culminates in an epic Sports Zone finale, with big camp games and challenges that bring the whole group together for an unforgettable conclusion to an amazing week.

Course Format

This course is part of a weeklong summer camp running Monday through Friday. Your child will learn in a small group setting from an experienced instructor. An exciting daily schedule balances learning and exploration of this topic with a variety of outdoor and recreational activities within the larger camp setting. Lunch and aftercare options are available based on location.
