  • About Culinary Kids

With a B.S. in Food and Nutrition and a Master’s degree in Education, I bring a strong blend of culinary expertise and instructional best practices to the Culinary Kids program. I hold an active teaching certificate and maintain an up-to-date Food-Safe certification, ensuring that every lesson is grounded in both educational excellence and safe, responsible food handling.

My background allows me to create learning experiences that go beyond cooking—helping students understand the “why” behind food choices, explore cultural traditions, and build confidence through hands-on discovery. Whether introducing foundational kitchen skills, guiding students through nutrition concepts, or fostering creativity with global recipes, I aim to make every class engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate.

Students can expect a fun, safe, and enriching environment where curiosity is encouraged, mistakes are part of the learning process, and every learner feels empowered to explore the joy of cooking.
