Summer Camp Reviews 2026: What Parents Are Saying About Brains & Motion Camps

Every summer, we hear from families who are trying camp for the first time alongside families who have tried many different programs over the years. The feedback tends to come back to a few consistent themes: whether kids felt welcomed, whether they stayed engaged, and whether they actually wanted to come back.

What stands out most is how often parents tell us their child surprises them with how strongly they feel about the experience.

One parent shared that their child had attended seven different camps over six years, and this was the only program where he asked in advance to be enrolled again.

Comments like this are important because they reflect something deeper than a single good week. When a child starts anticipating return, it usually means the experience felt meaningful enough to stand out in a crowded summer.

We hear variations of this often, where kids are not just enjoying the activities but forming real connections with new friends, staff, routines, and what the day feels like.

Another parent described how their child’s experience continued well beyond pickup time.

That idea of “missing the friends” comes up a lot. For many kids, camp becomes one of the first spaces where they build friendships quickly through shared projects, teamwork, and daily interaction. Those relationships often become the most memorable part of the experience.

We also hear from families who are brand new to BAM! and noticing the impact after just a single week.

First-time experiences matter. When families are trying something new, they are paying attention to everything from how their child is greeted in the morning to how they talk about their day afterward. When kids leave asking to come back, that signals that something is working in a real and consistent way.

Across these stories, a few patterns show up again and again.

Kids talk about wanting to return.

They build friendships quickly.

They feel supported by staff who know how to engage them.

They come home with stories they want to repeat.

We also want to note that these are just a small sampling of the rave reviews our summer camps receive. Here are some additional favorites from our Trustpilot:

“My daughter absolutely loved the program and was so excited every day. Thanks to Brains & Motion staff for making this so enjoyable for her.” -Shawn, Trustpilot

“Great experience for kids into robots… My son loved learning to program, and said ‘the people there were really nice, and I had a good time.’” -Amanda, Trustpilot

“My kids are having an amazing time at camp. They love the drawing class and all the other outdoor activities with their counselors. They like Gaga ball the most. They are always very eager each morning to go to camp. All the counselors are super nice at pick up. They know the kids by name and always wave good bye to them.” -Ivonne, Trustpilot

“My Daughter has become quite fond of Jehan! My daughter is autistic and has a history of eloping. Jehan has done an amazing job keeping my daughter safe in a professional yet sweet way! We are blessed to have people like her working with our strong willed and full of energy child! The second second day I picked up my daughter from camp I was greeted with… ‘mommy I want you to go back to work! I want to stay with her!’ It was bittersweet but very assuring my daughter had an amazing day at camp!” -Eva, Trustpilot

“Camille was a wonderful camp counselor. Her ability to quickly sort my young daughter's nerves of starting a new camp without knowing anyone at ease was remarkable. She found common ground and my daughter opened up about her interests and connected with Camille becoming excited about the day in a matter of minutes after chatting with her. A great experience!” - CG, Trustpilot
