StompPads Coding Junior: A Splash of Coding and Splat Fun is designed in alignment with the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) standards, ensuring a comprehensive and balanced approach to early digital literacy and coding education. This course invites young learners to dive into the world of coding through engaging, hands-on activities that combine motion and technology using Unruly Splats.

Our curriculum seamlessly integrates NGSS principles with English Language Arts (ELA) crossovers, fostering both scientific inquiry and literacy skills. By exploring coding concepts through interactive play, students enhance their technical abilities while developing problem-solving and communication skills. Each lesson is thoughtfully structured to include a mix of coding exercises and physical activities, promoting a balance between screen time and active play.
Focus Areas
Data Detectives: In Data Detectives, students embark on an exciting journey into the world of data collection and analysis using Unruly Splats. Through interactive games and hands-on activities, they learn to predict outcomes, gather data, and code their findings, all while enhancing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a fun, engaging environment.

Coding Playground: Coding Playground transforms coding into a thrilling adventure where students explore sequencing and debugging through physical activity and play. With the help of Unruly Splats, kids create sequences, debug code, and master foundational coding concepts, all while enjoying a dynamic and interactive learning experience that balances screen time with active play.

Learning Outcomes

Data Visualization Mastery
Students will learn to gather data and represent it through different visual tools such as charts, graphs, and infographics. This objective aims to enhance their understanding of data interpretation and presentation skills.
Algorithm Architecture
