Music & Motion: Rhythm and Beats is an active musical journey through rhythm basics.

Students dive into rhythm using body percussion and instruments like drums and tambourines. They'll explore rhythmic patterns with clapping, stomping, and marching. The course offers unique activities such as animal rhythm mimicry, story-enhanced beats, and DIY drum crafting, leading to an interactive rhythm showcase where everyone presents their rhythmic compositions, celebrating their newfound musical talents.

    Aligned with the National Core Arts Standards, Music & Motion offers an immersive experience where students explore rhythm, melody, and movement. This course combines engaging activities in drumming, clapping, and imaginative play to teach fundamental musical concepts. Students will enhance their rhythmic skills using body percussion and instruments like drums and tambourines, craft simple melodies with xylophones, and express emotions through dance with scarves and ribbons. The course culminates in a vibrant performance, showcasing students' newfound musical and movement talents, fostering creativity, collaboration, and a deep appreciation for the arts.
