This vibrant course allows students to delve into a wide array of scientific concepts, from the depths of marine biology to the vastness of astronomy. They'll ignite their curiosity and gain a comprehensive understanding of these diverse scientific fields through engaging activities and projects. Students will also apply engineering principles and design thinking to various practical challenges and themed adventures, learning to conceptualize, plan, and create innovative gadgets that reflect their scientific learning. In addition to these intellectual pursuits, afternoons are filled with Sports Adventures, where students will participate in various physical activities, developing their coordination, fitness, and teamwork skills. This unique program blends academic exploration with physical education, fostering intellectual growth and social-emotional learning in a fun and collaborative environment.

Here’s a sample of what a week in this camp could look like. Keep in mind, our experienced instructors will build the camp that is right for your student, and this outline demonstrates some of the key materials and the overall camp experience.

Monday: Design Thinking, Tall Towers, and Roller Coasters

Students will learn about design thinking and how it is used before exploring the strongest building in the world and building their own tall tower and wild roller coaster.

Tuesday: Motion, Momentum, Ziplines, and Soccer Games

Dive into the world of gravity and momentum! You'll get hands-on, building zip lines and soccer games to see how friction plays along. It's going to be a thrilling ride!

Wednesday: Bones, Tendons, Joints, and Movable Animals

Journey into the jungle in this animal adventure. Students will explore the biology and motion of bodies before building a creature with movement.
LEGO Innovators Summer Camp

Thursday: Engineering of Games, Skee Ball, and Bumper Cars

SCORE! What makes a game awesome? Students will explore the science behind building games before creating their own Skee Ball and Bumper Car adventures!

Friday: Electrifying World of Basic Circuitry

Explore the world of robots with circuits, switches, motors and more. Students will explore electricity and robot design before ending the camp with an awesome robot creation of their own.

Course Format

This course is part of a weeklong summer camp running Monday through Friday. Your child will learn in a small group setting on an inspiring university campus from an experienced instructor. An exciting daily schedule balances learning and exploration of this topic with a variety of outdoor and recreational activities within the larger camp setting. Lunch and aftercare options are available based on location.
